Chuppa

My name is Chuppa, and I am a Quarter Horse. I love to gallop in open terrain and am a very easygoing companion. You can recognize me by my continuous blaze, and I am a dark brown color. In the herd, I hold a lower rank, and for me, time in the pasture is the most important! I take my time while eating and carefully choose the most beautiful blades of grass in the field.

Brandy

My name is Brandy and I am the tallest one in the stable. I was born in England and belong to the English Thoroughbred breed. I began my childhood as a racehorse and am now happy to enjoy a peaceful horse life here with the herd out on the meadow. Unlike what many people expect of me, I am very calm and ask my rider for quiet, precise instructions – please don’t forget that I am a full-sized horse and not an agile pony. I am Ringo’s best friend and we love spending time together in the herd.

Ringo

My name is Ringo, and I'm a very intelligent and, above all, curious horse. I love being outdoors with my friends—I have a real bromance with Brandy, in particular. I'm an Apaloosa/Haflinger/Andalusian mix and am very powerfully built—a great mix, I'd say. My conformation is very Appaloosa: I'm chestnut with a white blanket over my croup, I have white-rimmed pupils, white/black striped hooves, and mottled skin around my nostrils.

Rina

My name is Rina, and I'm a truly typical South Tyrolean Haflinger mare with a beautiful, long, blonde mane—perfect for braiding. I'm very powerfully built, and my favorite hobbies are eating, eating, eating, and riding. So, I'm usually only out in the pasture for a few hours. I'll let you in on a secret: I'm completely in love with Ringo... but please don't tell anyone.

Lucky

I am the leader of the herd – my tasks are to guide the herd to the best feeding spots and water sources and to protect them from enemies. Even at night, I prefer to be out on the pasture with the herd and take turns keeping watch. I absolutely love working and enjoy going on rides =) As for my breed, I am a mix of Quarter Horse and English Thoroughbred.

Lola

I'm little Lola and a Shetland pony. I love participating in riding lessons and don't particularly enjoy pony lessons with small children. In short, I'm a big horse trapped in a pony's body, and even in the herd, I simply command respect. It's a shame that many kids prefer riding a bigger horse to me. I'm best friends with my two donkey cousins, Freddy and Barney. We always have so much fun together.

Nemo

With us, Nemo is not a fish, but a small Haflinger mare =). Before Nemo came to our farm, she had been a very thin broodmare for a long time. Now she is barely recognizable and loves leisurely nibbling on blades of grass – her second hobby is rolling around in the meadow or, in winter, in the snow. Simply enjoying life as a real horse…

Luna

Luna is a beautiful black mare and grew up together with Jack. The two have been best friends since they were foals and came to our farm at the age of nine so they could live with more space and more movement. Luna responds to even the smallest rider aids, is very respectful and has a sensitive character. She wants to make her riders happy and is a wonderfully reliable horse.

Jack

Jack is an extraordinary mix of Arabian and Paint Horse – although only the smallest features of the Arabian are visible. Even though Luna and Jack grew up together, they are very different =) Jack is a truly relaxed soul and a little cuddle bear; he loves being scratched and groomed. Confident and relaxed, his favourite thing is to gallop across the meadows.

Freddy & Barney

We're Freddy and Barney, and we were fortunately rescued from the Ortnerhof farm – male donkeys usually don't have much hope for the future. We're cousins, and our favorite pastime is romping and playing in the pasture. Of course, sometimes we have to shout "EEEEEEEEEE" to let everyone know we're there.
