Italy and great food simply belong together – and with us, you can taste both in every bite. At Ortnerhof, we celebrate Alpine cuisine with a Mediterranean heart: homemade dumplings, tender game, aromatic mushroom dishes, speck, and aged Parmigiano create truly memorable moments of indulgence.

To start your day, you can look forward to:

A rich breakfast buffet with South Tyrolean specialties, fresh bread, yogurt, honey, jams, muesli, cold cuts, and a variety of cheeses
Lunch from the quick snack menu or at Hotel Obereggen, for example farmer’s toast, piadina, or salad bowl (not included)
A fine afternoon cake buffet with fresh South Tyrolean whipped cream

In the evening from 6.30 p.m.: South Tyrolean and Italian specialties from the show kitchen, with antipasti and dessert from the buffet

Of course, we also offer lactose-free and gluten-free alternatives on request in advance – so that everyone can feel completely at ease.

Kids all in

For our little guests, we’ve put together an all-inclusive package that’s both fun and delicious.

At our juice bar, kids can enjoy apple, elderflower, orange juice, and iced tea, plus fresh spring water all day long. In the morning, a colorful breakfast buffet awaits, and at lunchtime the children in childcare are served in the children’s dining room at Hotel Obereggen: a warm children’s meal, salad, and dessert included. Those who prefer to spend the day with their parents can take along a lovingly packed lunch box. On request, we are also happy to prepare a children’s meal and salad for pick-up or for enjoying in your room. And in the afternoon? Of course, there is a snack during childcare or homemade cake from the cake buffet.

Panorama terrace & bar

A place to breathe deeply, relax, and linger: our panorama terrace is the favourite spot for sunny hours and peaceful breaks. Surrounded by the stunning mountain backdrop of the Dolomites, cappuccino, aperitivo, or homemade cakes taste twice as good here.

Whether in the morning with a good book, in the afternoon at the cake buffet, or in the evening with a glass of wine – our bar and terrace are the perfect meeting place for big and small holiday moments. Every view becomes a delight, and every sip an experience.

At our bar, we serve the last round until 10.30 p.m. After that, our honesty bar is available for you – simply help yourself to a drink and make a quick note of it. Alternatively, you are also welcome to use the bar at our partner hotel, Hotel Obereggen.

From our vineyard in Kurtatsch

Wine brings people together – and you can taste that in every glass of our own Lagrein. Deep red, powerful, and full of character – just like the region it comes from. Our family vineyard is located in Kurtatsch, not far from Lake Caldaro, where sun and soil create the perfect conditions for fine wines.

If you’re up for a trip, be sure to visit – and take a refreshing dip in the lake while you’re there. Enjoyment and nature as we love them.
